It is shooting stars out of me as I have opened my chest plates to destroy Unicron. In the beginning, I did not wish to do this, but the weight of the planet depended on it. As it is being released, I think of my memories, and how Jack can help keep my memories intact in that relic I handed him. When I first handed him it, I lied about it being a key to the Ground Bridge Power Supply. What was I supposed to do? Worry him of my intentions to erase my memories for the good of human kind? Ratchet will have to tell him the truth once I am gone. Megatron, our "for-the-moment" ally, has battled with us, but something inside him changes. He intends to fight, to destroy me, as Unicron told him so. Suddenly, I am filled with my previous life. It overshadows my judgements and takes a hold of my systems. I feel my Prime life slipping away as it continues to overpower my mind. The power of the connection to the previous Primes was lost. My chest plates close, and the face of Unicron disappears.
Darkness continues to come over me, but when I awaken, it is gone, and it is hard to see many images, connecting at once, all of them at the same time. I struggle to recognize the being coming towards me, and I do. It is Megatronus. He is the same as I remember, and looks down on me with hatred in his opticals. What is he thinking right now? It feels different around me, knowing that this is not Iacon, of Cybertron. I look around, feeling helpless and ask Megatronus, as he is close.
"Where are we, Megatronus?" I ask. The strangest thing happens when he looks at me funny, as if he doesn't know who I am. The reality is, I do not know of what my name is, or where the heavens await on this planet. He sheathes his sword, and lends a hand.
I take it, and he heaves me onto my feet. "Don't you remember, old friend?" He asks. I stare at him for mere minutes before an unknown crash is coming through a wall. 3 others come out of the wall, and the green one, what was his name? He shouts a question, which I think for the moment, is directed towards me, "Optimus, are you okay?" Optimus? I am not familiar with the name, nor am I programmed with it. I look at Megatronus, confused, and ask, "Why did he call me that?" Megatronus doesn't answer, as the other two follow the green, a blue femme, and a yellow bot. The femme glares and demands, "What did you do to him?" I believe she was referring to me. Puzzled more than ever than Megatronus was, I ask him again, "Who are they?" Again, he doesn't answer. But there is something familiar about them. For once, they have the same colored opticals as I, different from Megatronus'.
"Our mortal enemies," he says as a whirring sound comes through, "Go through! I will hold them off!" He pushes me forward to the portal, and starts shooting them with his laser blasts from his arm cannon. They fight back, as I run to the portal; I stop, and look back. Something doesn't feel right. I find the eyes of the yellow bot. He buzzes out, as his eyebrows form a sad expression. What am I to do? Megatronus said they were our mortal enemies. But I still run ahead, abandoning them, obeying Megatronus' words. One minute, I am in the cave, now I am on a ship. The hand guns are pointing at me from everywhere. Another whir sounds, and Megatronus comes through. He analyzes the situation and waves them down. And they all do so. He gestures me to walk with him and I obey.
As we walk down the path through the ship, I feel like I've been here before, but I cannot recall the memory. We come upon a room, and in my audio receptors, I hear shuffling. A deep voice rises as I get closer, "Welcome back, Lord Megatron." Was "Megatron" Megatronus' now naming? But I choose to ignore the change in name. I appear in the doorway, and find many of his kind, surrounding him. Before I know it, a blue and white mech shoots up, changes his hand into a hammer and comes for me. I take a step back, not knowing what to do. Reluctantly, Megatronus holds a hand up, and says, "Settle down, Breakdown." Breakdown? The name is too familiar. But I do not remember.
"That is no way to treat our long lost comrade." He looks at me, and I stare back.
"Orion Pax." Orion Pax
Yes, that is my name. I let my gaze down to the floor, not knowing what to say. "He is one of us." One of them
huh. I look up to the heavens, trying to find what is expected of me later in life; me, Orion Pax. A soldier of Cybertron.
